Sorrel is actively involved in the Clemson Chamber of Commerce and is a previous Board member. In 2007, Sorrel was the Small Business Person of the Year for the Chamber. She was also the Chairperson for the Chamber's Ambassador program which had over 100 active Ambassadors. In 2007, she was in Leadership Clemson that teaches community leaders how a community is run efficiently. Her class project involved helping a child abuse/neglect home, Helping Hands of Clemson, and they were able to raise over $15,000.

ReWiGo serves elderly, disabled, and impoverished people through a wide variety of home repairs and home improvements to make their home a safe, healthy, sustainable place to live.
